The place

Fingals is a weird and wonderful place, sprung straight from the imagination of its creative owners Richard and Sheila. The barn is one of six places to stay and has been converted from humble origins into a beautiful high-beamed space full of light and colour. It’s a true all-weather place, with the big lounge and dining room for sociable winter gatherings, an enclosed garden out the back and the estate grounds, with croquet, tennis and woodland walks in summer. The covered pool is a great feature at any time of year. Dogs and humans alike will enjoy strolls along the river Dart, foot ferries across the harbour and running wild on miles of sandy beaches.
