The place

Chaffinch Cottage sits in the Northumberland National Park, overlooking miles of hillside and patches of pine woodland. This part of the world is incredibly scenic and there are miles and miles of walks for sniff-searching, stick-chasing days out. The cottage's rustic appearance on the outside is deceiving -- the interior is wonderfully modern, with a spacious kitchen, a living room centred around a cosy wood burner, and a private enclosed rear garden to the rear, for endless zoomies and a morning cuppa. When night falls, make the most of this Dark Sky Area with one of the stargazing kits and test your constellation-spotting skills, with your four-legged friend at your feet. If your shoulders need some loosening, treat yourself to time at the ‘Holistic Healing Cabin’, receiving treatments like aromatherapy massages, facials or reflexology!
