The place
With open green fields stretching out all around you, you’ve got this cottage all to yourselves for a few days of kicking back and relaxing. Inside, the original features still shine, like the high wooden beam ceilings, and are complemented by the newer additions like the modern kitchen – where you’ll be cooking up the local fare at the end of the day. The coast’s in easy reach here, and at just a half hour’s drive, you’ll be able to spend the morning on the beach with an eager hound, the afternoon exploring the towns for dog-friendly coffee stops – and be back in time to enjoy a swim in the pool and a quick steam before dinner. Round off the day stargazing in the enclosed courtyard, toasting marshmallows on the chiminea.
