Why we love it

Perched just north of Bodmin Moor, there are few other places to settle down in rustic comfort with your dog and enjoy all Cornwall has to offer

What you'll love

Dogs will love

  • Napping by the wood burner
  • Taking tours of the South West Coastal Path nearby
  • Waiting by the BBQ, being suspiciously well-behaved

Humans will love

  • Taking their four-legged friend with them to local dog-friendly eateries
  • Testing their relationships with heated board game marathons
  • Heading to the honesty shop for human treats

The place

Hidden amongst the trees, Kemper is a safari tent designed for you and your dog to relax, and take in the wild, whilst you enjoy a simpler mode of living. Overlooking a stream, the deck is the perfect place to spend many an afternoon either reading in the floating chair, grilling up treats from the local farm shops, or just simply lazing about in the sunshine and the breeze. You have the best of both worlds here, with all the rustic charm of a safari tent, the foldable walls for warm days, and a wood burner for cooler ones – whilst having some creature comforts, like the indoor shower and bathroom. Without wifi or plug sockets, enjoy focusing on the important things, like adventuring in the locale, and quality time with the hound.
