The place

Found amongst the amazing scenery of Northumberland National Park, Kidlandlee Old Barn looks out on rolling hillsides, sprinkled in conifer forest. This is an amazing spot to take a few days of R&R with the dog. It’s easy to head off on walks straight from the door with the dog in tow (or more likely dragging you along at an excited pace), with a range of short or long ones depending on your preference. If you fancy something on the tougher end, there’s the nearby Windy Gyle to hike with the hound, or for something simpler, visit the Linhope Spout Waterfall. When you’re kicking back inside the place, you’ve got cool, calm interiors – views from the four-poster bed or the pair of singles alike – a stargazing kit for for the astronomically inclined (though views without a telescope will still be amazing), and a wood burner to curl up on the sofa in front of (with the dog on a blanket).
