Why we love it
So close to the coast, with miles of woodland walks all around, there’s adventures nearby, a sauna, cinema room and dog run on site!
What you'll love
Dogs will love
- Firing around the fully enclosed dog run!
- Stretching their legs in the huge garden
- Joining you on trips to the coast
Humans will love
- A spell in the communal sauna on site
- Keeping on program in the on-site gym
- An evening in the communal cinema room
The place
With oodles of space, and not just for poodles – big body-juddering-stretches are on the cards for everyone. Take the morning slowly, let the dog out for a quick jaunt around the garden on the grass – enjoy a cup of coffee with the green between your toes and settle back on the sofa before anyone else has even woken. You’ve got plenty to play with here. So close to the coast you could be hopping from market town to fishing village in search of incredible ingredients to use in the huge kitchen. Or of course, making use of the numerous farm shops dotted about close by. When you’re not exploring local castles, woodland or RSPB sites, Napier is the perfect spot to kick back and relax with the dog for a few days. Stretch out on loungers to bask in the sun, or dine out al fresco, and enjoy a world of calm.
In the neighbourhood
- Walk from the door: Walk out of the property and directly across the street via the neighbours’ drive. The footpath will be directly in front of you, and you can walk in either direction across Suffolk’s rolling fields
- Dunwich Beach, 25-minute drive: Welcome all year round, dogs will love a day out here, with miles of shingle to have mad dashes on and Dunwich Forest just over a half mile down the road
- Sibton White Horse Inn, 4-minute drive: With a menu of pub classics crafted from locally sourced ingredients, this is a clear favourite for dinnertime or a Sunday lunch. Dogs are welcome in the bar area, but they have limited tables, so do book!
- Thorpeness, 30-minute drive: Head down to Thorpeness to spend a morning or an afternoon galloping across the beach with the dog, and head back into town to one of the many pubs, restaurants or cafes
