The place
As you drive into this part of Wales, it’s important to have the windows rolled down, to smell the crisp, fresh air as it rolls over you – with the green hills as a backdrop. By the time you’ve arrived, you’ll be ready to let those shoulders drop. Quabb’s Cabin has the picture-perfect deck to sit out on, and watch sunrises and sunsets, as well as a back deck, where your dog will either be merrily bounding around the enclosed garden, napping gently on the warm wood, or watching closely and jealously as you cook on the firepit before dining at the al fresco table. An easy walk can take you onto Offa’s Dyke, while a short journey in the car offers adventures in all directions, with woodland, hikes, and National Landscapes in easy reach – all incredible days out with the hound. If you and the dog are feeling like homebodies however, stay in, take dips in the copper bath, or wood-fired hot tub, short strolls in the local area, and enjoy the fine local food together.
