The place
There’s a little something for everyone at Rockpools. Just ten minutes’ walk from the beach, you’re right next to everything you could want for some incredible days out. Whether it’s taking the hound down to the sands for a sprint, heading to the South West Coast Path for some windswept strolls or even great food at the local restaurants, it’s all on the doorstep. The best part of all? There’s even more to find within a short drive. When you’re not out adventuring, you and the other seven people you’ve brought will be enjoying lazy afternoons in the garden, barbequing, relaxing in the hanging chairs in the sun – and watching the dog rolling about on the grass. Your living space is spacious, with a clean, modern aesthetic that you’ll love luxuriating in. If the nights are cooler, you might be found outside by the firepit, or watching the sun go down over the sea from the hot tub, or even just inside, admiring the views from the floor to ceiling windows in the large, stylish living room.
In the neighbourhood
- Walk from the door: When you’re this close to the beach, the answer’s too obvious. Head down the road outside the property on foot and you’re at Watergate Bay, a beach that welcomes dogs all year round, and it takes ten minutes. Be advised, there is no pavement on this road!
- Mawgan Porth, 10-minutes’ drive: Just round the corner, there’s a phenomenal spot to take the dog for a sprint. With the cliffs soaring up all around you, there’s golden sands to stroll, sea to dive into and all the space you need to stretch out.
- Watergate Bay Hotel, 10-minutes’ walk: With multiple spots to grab a bite, a coffee or even take a swim, the Watergate Bay Hotel is a great spot to visit, an easy walk, and welcomes dogs!
- Wax, 20-minute walk: With a menu of decadent and experimental food (including Sunday roast wraps!), you’d think you’d seen it all – but there’s even a dog menu! So everyone gets to enjoy eating out.
