The place
The owners at Cynefin retreats have done it again. Yet more heart-stoppingly stunning places to stay, and this time, a delectable lodge. Silver Birch, like her sister lodges, comes with all you could expect as standard, the kitchen – modern and more than well equipped will be an important setting for fuelling up for the day. With seven acres to explore onsite, and the Wye Valley and Offa’s Dyke nearby, you’re spoilt for choice. Explore your surroundings, letting your dog lead you round the smell trail of Corsican pine, napping on the loungers out on deck, or fizzing pleasantly in the hot tub out back. Or if you take the day out to explore the much-to-find nearby, come home to luxury and rinse off in a rainfall shower or take a dip in a standalone bath you’ve waited too long for.
