Why we love it

Just below the Forest of Bowland AONB, this stunning stay has an enclosed courtyard, private fields, and wild swimming nearby

"Perfect for both humans and dogs"

The owners were superb hosts and gave us great recommendations of places to go. The cottage itself was perfect for both humans and dogs and we felt totally at home all week. The added benefit of a field to exercise Darcey was a real bonus!

Lindsay and Darcey, Paws & Stay guests

The place

You might not be shocked to learn that this place has an excellent boot room, and what an important feature to have when you've got a dog in tow. This is a place where old meets the new, and the two blend seamlessly. You’ll be admiring the roaring open fireplace and beautiful exposed brick walls, whilst sipping delights from the coffee machine, or padding from the luxurious bathroom to the beautiful bedrooms. With room for four, there's a well-equipped kitchen and a fantastic dining space to sit down for a feast, making it very easy to never leave, especially with the option to use the sauna (for an extra fee). But with its position just below The Forest of Bowland AONB, and the coast a 40-minute drive – you’ll probably be out exploring too!
