    The place

The Carn is a dog-friendly cabin curled into the edge of a woodland, where it overlooks the rolling hillside and woodland in front. If you and your dog are the type to enjoy a little peace, quiet and seclusion, this is the perfect spot for you. Inside you'll find two cosy bedrooms, an open-plan living area with a wood burner and a bathroom, complete with a roll-top bath and a stunning walk-in shower – both perfect for a spa-like start or end to the day. That is, if you’re not eyeing up the outdoor shower, or the bath sunken into the deck outside (which happens to be an amazing spot for stargazing). Watch as your dog gleefully leaps in the private garden as you grill some smokey treats on the covered deck. Or head out to the River Lugg for a picnic and an afternoon of wild swimming together.

    You should know

    • The woodland behind the cabin is off limits, as it doesn’t belong to The Carn’s owners. But you'll find The Globe woodland nearby!
    • No dogs on the sofa or the beds please! They'll find a cosy spot to settle elsewhere
    • The Carn is on open land which could mean that deer or livestock could approach occasionally, although unlikely
    • Two dogs are welcome, but bear in mind, the inside of the cabin is probably more suited to two smaller dogs or one large dog
