Why we love it

Surrounded by miles of countryside and AONBs, there’s a wood-fired hot tub, wood burner, firepit, and on-site lake

What you'll love

Dogs will love

  • Trotting about the enclosed paddock
  • Swimming in the on-site lake
  • Making friends at the doggy day care

Humans will love

  • Watching their dog frolic about as they relax in the hot tub
  • Spending an evening under the stars by the firepit
  • Ordering a locally sourced breakfast hamper

The place

Just outside the High Weald AONB, you can find The Hopper's Halt in an enclosed field, perfect for zooming around in. This is the place for dogs and their humans to relax for a few days, and enjoy some much-needed downtime. With the Kent Downs to your east, and the High Weald AONB to the south, there’s more than enough to visit nearby, and even a wander straight from the door will take you through woods and along rivers. That is, if you don’t just decide to relax in your very own green space, keeping an eye on the dog whilst you steam in the wood-fired hot tub or have a wander through the orchards. Let the dog have a splash around in the lake, whilst you stroll the grounds, and come back to a warm wood burner for a read, whilst the hound dries off with their belly up for a nap.
