The place
The first thing you’ll notice at The Oak will be the stunning views of the rolling hills of Northumberland National Park, that stretch out in front of you. However, your dog will probably be more excited by the enclosed garden, trotting about it like they own the place. This is also where you’ll find your al fresco dining spot and outdoor copper bath. Head indoors and you'll be in for another treat -- light, spacious rooms with a wood burner in the living room and a four-poster bed in the stylish bedroom. By day, head to the coast, under an hour away, or take on the nearby walking trails. By night, hire one of the stargazing kits and sip on hot chocolate as you spot constellations. Or if you're in need of a pamper, book in at ‘The Holistic Healing Cabin’ for treatments like aromatherapy massages, facials or reflexology.
