Why we love it

With mind-blowing views, an enclosed garden for safe sniffs, and an outdoor bath for stargazing, this is the best way to see Northumberland

What you'll love

Dogs will love

  • Pootling about in the enclosed garden
  • Sniffing out the treats left for them!
  • Making puppy eyes near the BBQ

Humans will love

  • Spotting constellations with the Stargazing Kit
  • Taking a dip in the outdoor bath
  • Waking up to rolling mountainside views

The place

Built into the rolling hillside of Northumberland National Park, The Willow overlooks breathtaking views. It’s also within England’s first International Dark Sky Park, and thanks to the ‘Stargazing Kit’, you can enjoy the night sky on your private deck with your four-legged friend at your feet. That is, of course, if you’re choosing not to enjoy it from the outdoor copper bath! The Willow is award-winning, sustainable, and perfectly placed to let your dog run free in the miles of countryside around you. But if you’re looking to switch off for a few days, let the dog zoom around the enclosed garden and enjoy breezing from the sofas indoors, to the patio outside, for al fresco lunches and dinners. Or simply leave the dog with your other half, and book into the ‘Holistic Healing Cabin’ for treatments like aromatherapy massages, facials or reflexology.
