Why we love it
Just a short drive from the coast, from woodland, town or local village, you’re as close and as far as you’d want for everything you need – including some time to yourself!
What you'll love
Dogs will love
- Having a little spritz with the outdoor hose
- Heading with you to the local dog-friendly pubs
- Naps by the wood burner
Humans will love
- Heading to the games room to compete
- Stargazing by the firepit
- Also, naps by the wood burner (like owner, like dog)
The place
Under half an hour from the sea, and set into a sprawling 60 acres of working, organic farm – the setting is hard to beat. Ty Mamgu is the epitome of the Welsh cottage, with plenty of ‘cwtch’ at every turn. During your days, you’ll spend time exploring winding country lanes, never-ending patchwork fields, local woodland – or even heading out to the coast for a sprint along the beach or some incredible breezy walks. If you’ve got the short-legged kind of dog, or the, ahem, not so active – then closer to home they might prefer a short wander round the local enclosed fields (so long as there’s no livestock) paired with a good wash at the dog wash station, and a nap in front of the wood burner when the night draws in. There’s a games room on site to play a few games, a farm shop to keep stocked up on all the great farm food on offer, firepit for toasty stargazing and even some lawn games for when the sun’s shining.
