The place
A quiet evening sat with the dog on the sofa (with the blankets provided), with the wood burner crackling softly in the background is just what the doctor ordered, and is easily prescribed at Yr Ffald. This historic cottage with modern touches is an easy 20-minute stroll to the sea for salty air straight off the sea, and oodles of countryside walks all around. The hound might have you venturing up the Pembrokeshire Coast Path in the morning, and you might be dragging them round a market town by the afternoon, but you can both meet in the middle for a night by a roaring fire at a country pub. Back at your space, there’s everything you’ll need to settle in for a quiet one: an al fresco table for sunny meals, an enclosed dog paddock for off-lead runs, and a sauna or hot tub to book if you fancy feeling a little pampered.
