Six Month’s Worth of Butternut Box and a Paws & Stay trip

We are running a competition to give away six month’s worth of Butternut Box meals, plus a £500 Paws & Stay voucher, to one lucky winner (the Giveaway). By entering the competition being hosted by both brands, you are indicating your agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

1. The prize

We will select one lucky winner to win six month’s worth of Butternut Box meals for their dog, plus a £500 Paws & Stay voucher. The prize consists of a Butternut Box credit valued at £600.00. This value is calculated based on the estimated cost of feeding a single, medium-sized dog (approx. 12kg–18kg) on a standard recipe plan for a 6-month period (26 weeks). The 'six month' duration is an estimate based on specific dog sizes; the prize is strictly limited to a total credit value of £600.00. This amount includes a ‘buffer’ in the cases that the winner may have a larger dog. 

You have the option to include treats and other products, however this must be accounted for in the total value of the prize, and as such may mean that your ongoing credit may last shorter than six months.

• a) The credit will be applied to the winner’s upcoming deliveries until the balance of £600.00 is exhausted.
• b) Balance Coverage: If a scheduled delivery exceeds the remaining credit on the account (e.g., if the winner has multiple dogs, a very large breed, or selects premium add-ons), the winner is responsible for paying the difference. Example: If a basket total is £60.00 and the remaining prize credit is £40.00, the winner must pay the outstanding £20.00 to fulfill the order.

The Paws & Stay voucher is worth £500 and valid on bookings made until 15th April 2027. The stay may be taken after this date. The prize is as stated, not transferable to another individual, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. Any additional costs (such as additional nights, extra services, or incidental expenses incurred in relation to the prize) are not included.

2. How to get involved

• a) The Giveaway runs from 00.00 GMT on 15th March 2026 to 11.59 pm GMT on 15th April 2026. Entries received after this time will not be considered. 
• b) Entries must be submitted via the entry form at https://www.pawsandstay.co.uk/partnerships/butternut/
• c) You may not enter the competition more than once. No other methods of entry will be accepted. There is no entry fee to enter this competition. 
• d) Excludes employees of Paws & Stay and Butternut Box and their immediate families, its agents, or anyone professionally associated with this promotion.
• e) Bulk entries from trade, consumer groups, or third parties will not be accepted.
• f) The winners will be selected at random on 16th April 2026 and notified within 7-days of the competition close date.

3. Availability and eligibility

• a) You must be 18 or over and resident in the UK at the time of entering the promotion. 
• b) The brands will not discriminate against any entrant on the basis of age, breed, national origin (or race, colour, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity.)
• c) The competition is not open to employees of Butternut Box or Paws & Stay.
• d) If you win, we will contact you via email to your email address used to enter the competition. You will have 72 hours after we email you to respond accepting the prize. Failure to respond will result in your prize being forfeited and another entrant selected.
• e) The value of the Butternut Box prize will be applied once the winner has set up a Butternut Box account. Once this is complete, Butternut Box will liaise with the user to apply the ongoing discount.
• f) The competition is also open to current Butternut Box customers where the £600.00 prize credit will be applied to their existing active subscription.
• g) Any entry that was made on behalf of an unknowing individual (i.e. someone who was not aware of being entered) will be automatically disqualified from the competition if their entry is selected as a winner.
• h) Winners must be the person redeeming the prize. You are not able to transfer the prize to anyone else.

5. Subscription Management

• The winner is entering into a subscription-based service.
• Once the prize credit has been fully utilized, the subscription will continue at the standard rate unless managed otherwise.
• Winners retain full control over their account and are free to pause or cancel their subscription at any time following the exhaustion of their prize credit, subject to Butternut Box’s standard cutoff times.

6. Data Protection

Personal data supplied during the course of the competition will be used by Paws & Stay and Butternut Box for the administration of the competition and may be passed on to third party suppliers only insofar as required for fulfilment/delivery/arrangement of the prize. Personal data will be used for no other purpose unless we have your consent. All personal data will be processed in accordance with the terms of our privacy policy found at https://butternutbox.com/privacy-policy. Except where consent has been provided, personal details of losing entrants will be deleted 12 months after the end of the competition period.

• By opting into newsletters from Paws & Stay and Butternut Box, you agree to the terms and conditions.

7. Disclaimers

• a) The prize is awarded to the winner of the Giveaway and is not transferable or exchangeable and no cash prize is available. 
• b) In the event of unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right, but are not obliged, to substitute any element of a prize for an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
• c) We accept no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault of any kind. 
• d) We reserve the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone we suspect is in breach of these rules. 
• e) Our decision regarding any aspect of the competition is final and binding. 
• f) We reserve the right to cancel or terminate the competition at any time without prior notice.  
• g) We reserve the right to amend the competition or these terms and conditions without prior notice. Any changes to these terms and conditions will be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage. 
• h) Butternut Box, its associated companies, its agents and distributors will not be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), damage or expense occurring as a result of taking up the prize (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law. Your statutory rights are not affected. 
• i) The competition will be governed by English law and entrants to the competition submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

9. Additional Notifications & Technical Issues

• The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any technical issues, system or software failures encountered on www.pawsandstay.co.uk during entry.
• The Promoter reserves the right to temporarily suspend the operation of the site without notice in the event of system failure, maintenance, or repair, or for any other reason beyond its control.
• You are responsible for all Internet connection costs charged by your service provider.

Liability & Modification Rights

• The Promoter will not be liable for loss/damage whatsoever caused by matters arising from this promotion.
• The Promoter reserves the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this Competition with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its control (including, without limitation, anticipated, suspected, or actual fraud).
• The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
