The place
With plenty of spots to explore nearby, Anneth Lowen is perfectly placed to send you out on adventures in North Cornwall. In 20 minutes, you could be in Bude – checking out the sea pool, walking the canal or eating out with the dog. Or you could take the short drive to one of the many beaches nearby, for afternoons on the sand, a spot of surf or just windswept walks with an eager hound. Back at your space, you’ve everything you need to enjoy yourself. There’s plenty of room to stretch out in the open plan living room/kitchen and plan the days adventures ahead, or take it easy at the end of the day, with a tuckered-out dog next to you (on a throw). The modern kitchen should have all you need to cook up the bounty of local food, and the al fresco table outside will make for the perfect place to spend a sunny lunchtime with the dog happily napping by your feet.

- The Horseshoe Inn, 2-minute walk: Mosey on down the road to The Horseshoe Inn for flagstone floors, wooden-beamed ceilings and classic ales on tap. You might even recognise it from the TV…
