The place
If you’re in need of a little breathing room, a few days of rest, and a whole heap of peace and quiet – look no further. Just a 20-minute drive from the beach, with acres of woodland right on the doorstep, the surrounding area reads like a dog wish list, with Deerpark forest to the North, and Bodmin Moor available for all manner of short walks and long hikes to the north. But the house? That’s the human wish list. Pad about on flagstone floors as you explore the separate lounge, study and kitchen downstairs, then cook up fine Cornish ingredients to enjoy in the dining room or outside at the al fresco table or covered patio. Upstairs, find a range of spacious rooms where you’ll surrender to peaceful sleep – that is, right after a spell in the hot tub.
