The place

There’s no tripping over the dog at Meadow View – you and your four-legged friend will have plenty of space to stretch out and enjoy a few days of countryside living. With miles of patchwork field all around, woodland to discover and short drive to the coast – it’s perfect for everyone. Days out might look like adventures to Dunwich Beach or Thorpeness in search of coastal ingredients for incredible dishes back at home in the modern kitchen, or woodland walks being led around by the hound’s nose! Whilst staying in will have its own rewards, either loafing about in the ample room, cuddling the dog on the sofa (on a blanket) or enjoying the incredible on-site facilities like the communal gym, sauna and cinema room

In the neighbourhood

  • Walk from the door: Walk out of the property and directly across the street via the neighbour’s drive. The footpath will be directly in front of you, and you can walk in either direction across Suffolk’s rolling fields
  • Dunwich Beach, 25-minute drive: Welcome all year round, dogs will love a day out here, with miles of shingle to have mad dashes on and Dunwich Forest just over a half mile down the road
  • Sibton White Horse Inn, 4-minute drive: With a menu of pub classics crafted from locally sourced ingredients, this is a clear favourite for dinnertime or a Sunday lunch. Dogs are welcome in the bar area, but they have limited tables, so do book!
  • Thorpeness, 30-minute drive: Head down to Thorpeness to spend a morning or an afternoon galloping across the beach with the dog, and head back into the town to one of the many pubs, restaurants or cafes
